Love this vintage neon sign in Lafayette, LA. I was trying to capture the reflection off the tin roof. It came out okay I think. My dad used to leave church after communion; walk across the street; and have a double scoop here at Borden's before the rest of the congregation was outside. GeneSalassi on Flickr: Posted a Photo

I gave a presentation on shark biology and ecology and performed a shark dissection for my mom's 5th graders today.
Three times. 1 hour each.
I don't know how you teachers do it all day, day after day. I'm exhausted! Danarah on Flickr: Posted a Photo

Erin and Alex left today after lunch. I've been home alone with mom and dad all afternoon. Home alone with them for the first time in ... well, I can't even remember when the last time was.
It really hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be. Nothing ever is. Danarah on Flickr: Posted a Photo

Between packing for the long Thanksgiving weekend and the drive to my parent's house in Lafayette, La, I completely forgot a 365 photo. |
